Who writes AdLibraryGuide

AdLibraryGuide guides are signed by the AdLibraryGuide editorial team rather than by an individual name. We would rather sign as a team than invent a person: a made-up author with a stock photo is exactly the kind of signal a reader should distrust.

What the team does before a guide goes live

Section titled “What the team does before a guide goes live”

Every guide goes through the same three steps. First, the library is opened and the searches in the guide are run live, with screenshots saved and dated. Second, every fact about retention, coverage or data fields is matched to the platform’s own documentation. Third, the “where the library stops” section is checked so that any tool it names, including Spytrend, is named only for a gap it actually closes.

The team behind AdLibraryGuide is the team behind Spytrend, an ad-intelligence tool. Daily work with ad data is why these guides exist: we use the official libraries ourselves and know where they help and where they stop. How that affects the site is set out on How AdLibraryGuide makes money.

The rules every guide follows are on the methodology page.

AdLibraryGuide is written by its editorial team, the team behind the ad-intelligence tool Spytrend. Guides are signed by the team rather than by an individual name, because a made-up author would be a worse signal for readers than an honest team byline.
